RPGaDay Challenge 2017 - Day 16

This next one...how do I answer this?

Seriously, do people actually do this? Play games 'as is'?

Like, exactly how they read it in the book. Exactly?

Really? C'mon, you're pulling my leg.

Gosh. The thought of it is...disheartening somehow. It makes me feel sad.

I couldn't do it. I wouldn't want to.

There is no game I enjoy without some sort of modification.

  1. To be honest. I will when starting with a new system just so I can get a feel for the game and how everything works in actual play. Mostly because I've seen that, for me, some things may look good on paper but not work well in play and vice versa. So I at least like to give it a shot as designed. However, I usually start to tweak or change things pretty quickly to better fit my needs.

  2. I do, more often than not. But I may be a little weird.
